We're seeking a Communications and Engagement Advisor to be the voice of our Community Development & Emergency Management Team. If you're a communication wizard and love crafting messages and telling stories that captivate, engage and inspire, then this role is tailor-made for you!
What will your days look like?

You'll be at the forefront of crafting communication plans, ensuring that our messages hit all the right notes for our diverse audiences.
- Be the Voice: Your exceptional communication skills will shine through as you write, speak, and engage with our community like never before.
- Master of the Digital Realm: Dive into the social media landscape, where you can unleash your social-savvy skills to drive our message home.
- Tech Whiz: Bring your tech prowess to the table, as we need you to work your magic with software applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Mailchimp.
Do you get excited by crafting critical messages during an emergency response, fuelled by toffee pops and minties?

Ngā Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll bring;
- A degree or diploma in communications, journalism, or public relations,
and a minimum of five years' experience in marketing or communications under your belt.
- A knack for flawless writing, impeccable grammar, and the gift of gab.
- An intimate understanding of the social media landscape and how to navigate it.
- Proven experience with the tools of the trade, from Word to Mailchimp.
