Position: Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications)You will be an experienced communications advisor, with demonstrated experience in contributing towards the development of fit for purpose communications strategies as well as hands-on experience with implementation of that strategy. You are seeking to step up to the next level where you will be leading the development and implementation of the communications strategy for Te Taumata. You have fluency in te reo Maori me ona tikanga and have experience with delivering communication strategies/plans infused with and/or overlayed with a te reo Maori me ona tikanga lens.Your ability to provide communications advice is second to none and you are an experienced operator having had previous experience working alongside project and programme leaders to develop, deliver and review evidence-based communications and engagement plans.You will have an established network of trusted relationships with media and relevant staff from stakeholder organisations in your previous and current role. You will leverage this experience to develop and maintain trusted relationships with media and stakeholders of Te Taumata to foster opportunities that will assist in reducing our reputational risk and support us in our growth journey.You will be solely responsible for leading the design and/or production of printed or digital collateral for Te Taumata. You will have a lead role in supporting in-person and virtual events and conferences. You are a seasoned creator of social media ads and campaigns across all channels.You pride yourself on being action-oriented with a drive for completing set projects with dogged proactiveness and determination. You seek out new and better ways to be successful by challenging the status quo, generating new and creative ideas which you translate into workable solutions.Customer service is your strength and passion. preferably in communications or a related area and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the development and implementation of communication and engagement strategies and plans, as well as in writing and delivery of appropriate audience-focused products.
