Are you a Junior to Intermediate Legal Secretary with conveyancing experience looking to work closer to home?
Your new company
This is a good sized general practice based in the Eastern Suburbs which has a strong customer client base and a thriving property department. Due to growth, they are seeking a junior to intermediate legal secretary to join their busy transactional property team.
Your new role
Working closely with the property partner, you'll be assisting with a broad range of conveyancing transactions, preparing associated documentations and correspondence, undertaking Dictaphone typing and additional general daily office administration tasks.
You'll be liaising with clients and third parties and ensuring deadlines are met.
What you'll need to succeed:
You'll have a minimum of the basics when it comes to legal secretarial work as well as conveyancing. This is a busy faced paced environment so you need to have excellent organisational and time management skills, great attention to detail and be able to prioritise and move transactions through quickly and efficiently.
You'll be familiar with Landonline, Webforms, Word, and Outlook. Accurate typing, dictaphone skills and excellent written and oral communication skills are important. Customers and teams are important too, so a positive can-do attitude, great customer service skills and being a team player are also key.
What you'll get in return
This is a great role if you are a junior legal secretary and looking to grow or an intermediate who is looking to take on a busy secretarial/conveyancing role and take it to the next level. The firm offers a busy environment where you'll have loads of variety and challenges, a collaborative team environment, the opportunity to work close to home and a fair market salary together with ongoing learning.
