get the value by strategic sourcing and keep the value with vendor relationship management and enhance the value by continuous improvement.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the GM Procurement you will become the expert across the Professional Services portfolio, while building quality and strategic relationships with suppliers to develop true longer term business partnerships.
Responsible for understanding, accessing and integrating all relevant data sources through your comprehensive knowledge of category relevant analytical tools and techniques in order to determine timely, succinct and commercially relevant insights across your portfolio to support sourcing & negotiation plans, vendor management plans, and category strategies.
Responsible for the development and execution of in-market vendor management and sourcing activity, you will define and execute category strategies in collaboration with other Fonterra category teams to ensure that Fonterra is deriving sustainable best value from the supply market and ensuring supply risk is minimised.
The successful candidate will have a broad background in Category Management, ideally focused on key professional services including Human Resources, Professional Services, Insurance and Banking; from a large, complex organisation.
Your strength will be in the insight you form and relationships you develop as you negotiate with vendors and internal stakeholders to align services and contracts with our organisation’s strategic goals and ensure we are well represented in the market.

You are expected to be good in dealing with ambiguity, be flexible and able to dynamically address to changing priorities and establish yourself as trusted business partner.
