The role The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for building and managing customer journeys and segmentation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Reporting to the CMO, the Marketing Automation Specialist will build and leverage knowledge of automation best practices to create, execute, and track highly targeted digital marketing and data driven marketing campaigns.
This is critical role that sits at the junction of technology and marketing, and is responsible for deploying both retention and lead generation campaigns. You will be an expert in operating and leveraging a Marketing Automation platform and be responsible for collating multiple sources of data (incl. data from external and third party sources) into an all-encompassing journeys and campaigns targeting segmented client groups. You will be the primary owner of data marketing throughout the business, ensuring and maximising ROI in digital investment. About you You'll bring over five years of experience in data marketing, including 2 to 3 years' experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation tools (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Adobe Marketing Cloud). You will be a self-starter who can work autonomously with the ability to use initiative and judgement to identify problems and propose solutions. Your passion and desire to immerse yourself in the data in order to realise and initiate new ways of tackling existing challenges will be critical to your success. You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and rapidly changing environment and have a strong interest in financial services and business intelligence. Strong time management and organisational skills will be needed, including your ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise own work and meet tight deadlines.
