This role offers a challenging and interesting opportunity supporting the operations of the Medicinal Cannabis Agency. It involves providing technical advice on the regulation and compliance of medicinal cannabis licenses and advertising.
You will apply your excellent technical and interpersonal skills assessing medicinal cannabis facilities for security compliance to support license applications. This role will complement a high-performing team with multi-disciplinary skills, with strong science-related backgrounds.
As a member of the Medicinal Cannabis Agency you will be part of a professional, committed team working alongside other Ministry of Health business units in a regulatory framework. You will bring knowledge in using a range of approaches to deliver high quality and timely outcomes to a range of stakeholders.
Based in Wellington, you will be required to travel on a regular basis within New Zealand. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
In this position you will be able to manage your own workload, be willing to contribute to a peer review system, and work as part of a well-motivated team. You will likely be qualified in an area of chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or a related discipline, have good computer skills and an interest in working in a regulatory environment.
