Are you looking for a role with a great team and to use your skills and experience to work for a forward-looking regulatory regime to improve the health of New Zealanders? Can you put your highly developed technical and problem-solving skills into practice assessing medicinal cannabis products?

We are recruiting for 1 permanent position and 1-year fixed term position and invite you to apply for one or both roles.

This role offers a challenging and interesting opportunity supporting the operations of the Medicinal Cannabis Agency. It involves providing technical assessments of quality standards of new and imported medicinal cannabis products against the quality standard. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have the ability to manage relationships at all levels. This role will complement a high-performing team with multi-disciplinary skills, with strong science-related backgrounds. You will be able to manage your own workload, be willing to contribute to a peer review system, and work as part of a well-motivated team.
