Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 3 - 10)

The Opportunity:

Gain valuable real-life experience & insights through the role of Dietitian in our Acute Dietetic team based at Middlemore Hospital. This is a wonderful opportunity to use your Inpatient experience working alongside the multi-disciplinary team in the hospital setting.

The ideal applicant is self-motivated and enjoys working in a flexible and challenging environment, has great communication skills, able to think outside the box, efficient in time management, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a strong quality-focussed team.





You will also be involved with dietetic student training and encouraged to participate in service development and project work.

Essential:

• BCapSc or BSc, and Post Grad Dip Diet or MSc Dietetics (or equivalent as recognised by the NZ Dietitians Board).
• NZRD with current Annual Practising Certificate
• Experience in managing a caseload, ideally in an inpatient/acute setting
• Cultural awareness and understanding
• Excellent time management and communication skills
