Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Love good coffee and working with people? Cater Plus is on the hunt for a passionate Barista Manager to run our cafe located at the Lab Test Office in Mt Wellington. This is a fixed term contract starting early November through to early April 2025 to cover extended leave.

Cater Plus is proud to be the service provider for Lab Test, a company providing community and commercial pathology services to the Auckland Region.

This role will be responsible for providing coffee and café style offerings, and warm, welcoming, friendly service.

To be successful in this role you need to be high energy with a can-do attitude, friendly,





bubbly nature and the ability to genuinely engage with customers and keep them coming back for more! You will also need to have previous café experience and be able to:

- prepare, display and serve beautifully crafted coffee and café style food
- monitor quality of food at all stages of preparation and presentation
- implement New Zealand Food Control and Safety regulations
- maintain a clean, tidy, safe and hazard free environment
- operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile
- have experience in a similar café environment
- be well organised with regards to stock control, ordering, rosters and budgets
- build strong positive relationships with staff and customers
- be comfortable using technology

This position is a fixed term contract, full time, working Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3.00pm, with the weekends free to enjoy with family and friends and with parking available on site.
