Position: Deputy Principal (Primary and Intermediate Years 1–8) / Kura Tuatahi Subjects: English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Maori, The Arts 2MU This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic leaders. Kahutara School is a full primary set in a wonderful rural environment. We are looking for a Deputy Principal and leader who: Puts students first and believes all students can learn Has a proactive collaborative leadership approach and experience leading successful teams Has strong pedagogical and curriculum knowledge Has experience working and leading in the junior school area Is culturally responsive and is passionate about inclusive teaching and learning Possible Responsibilities: Management: timetabling, systems/procedures, EOTC Leadership: curriculum development (specialising in the junior school) and pedagogy This is a teaching position (year level negotiable) with some leadership release when required.
