Our Specialist Trades division includes Etco, ICE, and E-tec, all focused on building industry capability and fostering a highly skilled workforce. Etco trains electricians, placing apprentices with host companies and offering courses for both apprentices and qualified electricians. ICE provides hands-on training in plumbing, gasfitting, drainlaying, and roofing. E-tec specialises in training for the electrotechnology and telecommunications sectors.
Together, we equip apprentices and professionals with the skills needed for success.
The opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Campus Delivery Manager to oversee the operational and strategic management of our Auckland campuses, focusing primarily on electrical programmes. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the campus operates efficiently by managing classroom utilisation, programme revenue, tutor performance, and student success rates. You will drive a positive team culture,
ensuring collaboration with the field services team to enhance the learner experience.
Key responsibilities
- Operational leadership: Lead and manage learning staff and on-site administrative teams, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with NZQA & TEC requirements.
- Campus resource management: Ensure optimal utilisation of all campus resources, including classrooms, equipment, and facilities, to support seamless programme delivery.
- Academic leadership and consistency: Promote a unified approach to teaching while addressing individual campus needs. Mentor Learning Support Managers to drive consistency and excellence.
- Campus planning and revenue management: Contribute to and implement annual business plans and manage budgets,
monitoring programme revenue streams for growth opportunities.
- Staff management and development: Manage and mentor campus staff, conducting regular performance evaluations and supporting their development.
- Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with various internal departments and external stakeholders to promote programmes and enhance learner success.
- Student success and programme quality: Monitor and report on student success rates, implementing strategies to enhance outcomes and maintain compliance with academic quality assurance.
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 5-7 years in the electrical industry, education management, or vocational training, with proven leadership in managing large teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, hospitality,
or a related field.
- Operational expertise: Experience in managing operations, facilities management, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Training knowledge: Familiarity with curriculum development and NZQA & TEC compliance standards is a plus.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication skills with experience in building partnerships and driving collaborative efforts across teams.
- Data proficiency: Experience with data-driven decision-making and reporting.
