Immediate start temporary HR Advisor role, taking you past Christmas into 2025, true generalist HR advisory role with some interesting projects.

Mō te tūranga - About the role (and responsibilities)
Looking for an experienced HR Advisor that can come in and hit the ground running, offering the portfolio Leaders support and coaching on all things in the employee life cycle.
- This is an ongoing temp assignment for 2-3 months (approx.) which will roll past that as per business needs
- Dealing with employee complaints, grievances, conflicts and breach of policy
- Generalist role – HR administration / documentation, Recruitment,
HR Advisory, ER
- HR Advisory for Leaders and support and coaching – essential!
- Based Mount Wellington, East Auckland – some travel required when required to other Auckland sites, so you will need a full Drivers licence
- Market rate Advisory compensation + 8% holiday pay

- Large organisation with a great team environment, the leaders and the HR team embrace a lot of fun and banter and really love to work together collaboratively. No one is precious and we are looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in and do what needs to be done, everything from admin support, to recruitment and ER cases and all advisory HR in between!

- You have experience as a HR Advisor
- You must have a full current NZ driving licence for this role
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Confidentiality and discretion
- Deal effectively with conflict
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- Flexible, adaptable,
and enjoys challenges and change
- Good relationship building skills – able to inspire credibility and trust quickly
- Solution oriented – gets to the heart of the matter and generates pragmatic solutions
- Strong communication skills
Your experience:
- Knowledge of HR data management and system savvy with HR / Recruitment systems
- Experience with ER, Investigations, Performance Management, Disciplinaries
- Recruitment – guidance and advisory
- Coaching leaders
