The Role
The role of the Senior Management Accountant reports directly to the Finance Manager, acting as 2IC and works closely with the Commercial Manager. You will manage two staff and have the ability to coordinate continuous improvement processes in-line with the business plan and strategy.
From a business partnering aspect you will be heavily involved in proving ad hoc reporting to multiple GM's across the business, it is your ability to add value, understand the commercial drivers of the business and drive dashboards and KPI's which will enable you to partner the operational side of the business.
Your duties will include:
- Monthly management accounts for 3 business units
- Monthly analysis and reporting on each business unit
- Analysing costs, BoM, margins, FTE's and FX for multiple business units
- Understanding of job costing and production management processes to recommend on efficiency usage
- Developing financial plans and forecasts for multiple business units
- Assisting with budgeting process
- Assisting with audit
- Annual stock take assistance and analysis on stock movement and production
- Ad hoc duties
Your profile:
To be considered for this role,
we are looking for an individual with a proven track record of partnering with stakeholders to deliver insights and drive performance alongside strong accounting skills found in management accountants. You must have strong communication skills, be down to earth and practical in your approach as well as being able to think laterally to problem solve.
