Due to the extended business hours, The Naval Bar in Auckland CBD is looking for a Full-Time Duty Manager and Bar Manager who must work weekends.
Position:
Duty Manager and Bar Manager
Duties:
Manage operations of a licensed bar and kitchen on-site.
Ensure dining and bar facilities comply with health & safety regulations and are clean, functional, and have a suitable appearance.
Recruit and train staff to provide good service to customers and handle customer complaints.
Food and drink cost control.
Bar planning with chefs, pricing, and purchasing of goods according to budget.
Service customers and take orders.
Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with food and service.
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
Any other reasonable responsibilities and duties.
Wages:
$29.00 - $32.00 per hour
Working hours:
30 hours minimum; must be available to work weekends.
Suitable applicants should have relevant qualifications and a minimum of 2-3 years experience in managing a bar.
