The Business
La Zeppa - A rooftop beauty! This spacious kitchen and bar is located in Freeman’s bay, directly behind Victoria Park. Whether it’s dinner with the crew, wines with the girls or date night - we’ve got you covered. Our mediterranean menu will also get you talking. Tapas with style, cocktails with a punch and DJ’s that guarantee to bring the weekend vibes in.
The Role
This is your chance to unlock the drinks master within! This position requires you to pour and whip up drinks for our clientele,
maintaining the highest of standards creating memorable and charming experiences.
This role would be ideal for a student who is looking for Friday and/or Saturday evening shifts, with the opportunity for weekday nights too. We can work around your schedule!
Your main responsibilities include:
- Greeting (and charming!) customers
- Making, serving and selling cocktails, coffees, shots, bottled, mixed drinks and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Setting up the bar for busy periods and completing the opening / closing systems including cleaning and maintaining bar service areas
- Promoting products and upselling
- Washing glassware, arranging bottles and glasses as well as tapping kegs and attaching supply lines
- Handling customer payments
- Assisting the sales manager as required
Skills / Experience
We are looking for an energetic, flexible and hard working candidate. You may not necessarily have bar experience, and that’s ok! What we are looking for is:
- A passion for making drinks and experiences
- A professional approach to handling different situations
