Lower Hutt is seeking a general practitioner to join their team in Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand. The salary for this role ranges from NZ 85,000 to NZ 180,000. Candidates must hold general registration and an annual practising certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Apply now!Responsibilities for General Practitioner:Document a patient's medical history by recording pertinent information about their health.Update medical records by revising and adding relevant information to a patient's health documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness for effective healthcare management.Prescribe medications by recommending and dispensing appropriate drugs based on a patient's diagnosis and medical history.Perform small medical procedures to diagnose or treat certain conditions.Monitor patients to determine if treatment is successful and identify which adjustments might be made if necessary.Requirements for General Practitioner:Hold a general registration and an annual practising certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand.Experience in a general practice setting or working towards Vocational Registration.Experience with MedTech 32 is beneficial.Provide equitable, high-quality,
