Head Medical are seeking applications from SAS Grade Doctors within Emergency Medicine Doctors for a purpose build facility in Hawera, located in the beautiful Taranaki region.

- Salary $142,683 -$210,933 NZD (depending on experience)

The Role
Taranaki District Health Board serves a population of 118,000 and this role is based in New Plymouth, the main city within the Taranaki Province.
Located in the scenic Taranaki region, Hāwera Hospital serves the 30,000 population of South Taranaki and is equipped with a 7-bed Emergency Department, 17-bed inpatient ward, and Primary Birthing Unit. The hospital and sees approximately 15,000 ED patients annually and offers a range of outpatient specialist clinics on-site.

The Location
The Taranaki region is known for its stunning natural landscape, which lends itself to all manner of outdoor activities from the mountains to the sea, and has been the backdrop for numerous well-known blockbuster movies filmed here in NZ.
