Head Medical have ENT opportunities suited to post foundation trainees – it would be advantageous if you have completed a rotation within ENT. You will be based in Hastings in a large secondary level hospital and enjoy working in a supportive team environment.

- Salary $105,672 -$121,920 NZD (depending on experience).

The Role

You will be based in a large secondary level,





400 bed accredited public hospital providing acute and elective care for a region of over 162,000 people. It is one of the largest provincial hospitals in New Zealand. The hospital is modern with a full range of surgical, medical, oncology and radiological services. In addition, outreach services are provided at rural and community based facilities across the region in Wairoa and Waipukurau.

This is a great opportunity for resident doctors to further broaden their clinical and surgical skills, providing a strong foundation for future training opportunities. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes; 6 ENT consultants, 1 Maxilofacial Consultant, registrars, house officers and 5 specialist clinic nurses.

- Assess and treat acute surgical cases, providing high-quality patient care.
- Participate in outpatient clinics and gain valuable hands-on experience in both routine and complex ENT cases.

- Work closely with experienced ENT and Maxillofacial consultants in a supportive,





educational environment.
- Exposure to a wide range of ENT conditions and procedures, enhancing your surgical and clinical expertise.

The Hawke’s Bay region (pop. 162,000) is set on the beautiful East Coast of the North Island. Live in Hastings (pop. 80,000) or the art-deco city of Napier (63,000) and enjoy all the lifestyle benefits that this region brings.
